Reading through glasses

After much agonising and denial, I finally come to term with the fact that I need a pair of reading glasses. It is a milestone of finally coming to terms with my age and grant myself a graceful relief of having to pore over handphone screen and squinting my eyes when signing credit card stubs.

Legoland in Action

This is no lego blocks but Singapore Container Harbour. I was fascinated by the cranes and trucks and containers stacking up in blocks. Guess I would make a good playmate for my nephew building lego blocks

Ushering 2008 !

I was treated to a sumptous visual feast of firework from my balconey. Five different spots in Klang Valley, a varied style of fireworks, a different anticipation and style to usher the new year.

Happy New Year

To be fair, no matter how hard it is, it will be over. 2007 has been a mad year for the politics with the embarassing truth of Iran is afterall not producing nuclear arm. But it also marked the tragic death of Ms.Buttho. Though what Saddam did was very disagreeable with me, I am saddened by the way his life ended. Locally I watched with dismay about how the local government is handling the recent upsurge of demonstration.

On personal front, it has been a great year for my business and personal growth in my development as a trainer. I learnt a great deal about partnership and the commitment and price that comes along with it. It makes me really appreciate the bond I saw amongst the leaders of Magnus during their formative years.

While I invested in my business a tremendous amout of effort and time, art development at the backseat. Throughout the entire year I produced not more than five pieces, much to the disappointment of my teacher. I managed to exhibit my work at the newly open Justlife Restaurant , thanks to the support of my friends. Luckily with the little time I have, I managed a few pencil sketches, T-shirts and graphic design.

To be fair, it has been a wonderful year. I look forward to a new year of personal growth, being able to be there for the people I love and contribute in the best way I can to the world I live in.
